Well, they have always been a joy, but to watch them outside playing this weekend was incredibly fulfilling. It is such a blessing to see two beautiful, healthy little girls splashing around and "helping" us plant flowers. I could not ask for more. Autumn, has turned into a rebel, she is the dominent of the two lately. I tell her not to do something and she ends of doing it anyways. Needless to say we have had to use the time out chair 3-4 times a day. Most of the time Mattea is willing to comply, we think that this is because she observes her sisters behavior and the punishment and does not wish to follow in that fun. It has been a monkey see monkey do week though. Just today Autumn was picking up all of the pretty rocks Daddy had put around our garden and Mattea followed. It only took them 15 minutes to undo his 30 minutes of work. All I could do is sit by and giggle about it. They are getting along pretty great these days and playing together. We still have our small tiffs here and there, but they fight a lot less then they did a year ago. I could not imagine being with someone from conception on through life, what a bond they are creating! I am so greatful for everyday to watch my angels grow. I am coming to grips with this last miscarriage and working through it. God has chosen a different path for us, a higher purpose. I pray that his will be done and that we follow the path he has set for us. God is good, God is loving. It is in his hands we place our lives. He DID bless us with two beautiful princesses, I cannot imagine what he has in store for us next. I leave you with a photo collage of the weekend. God Bless friends and Family. You are in a prayers every night, as we hope to be in yours.

Schools Out!

Whoo HOO! Well school is officially out for me this semester. I finished all of my hybrid courses tonight. I can't even express how relieved I am to be through one more semester. I am only taking one class this summer, so that should be cake. I am ready to focus on my family and have a ton of fun with them. We went to the park today and played outside a lot. The girls had a blast. We just love our time as a family and cherish it. The girls are definitely outdoorsy and enjoy the dirt. I don't think Daddy would have it any other way. Family is life and life is about family. It's like the saying goes, "A house is built with boards and beams, a home is built with love and dreams." We definitely aren't short on dreams.

Sisterly Love

Adoption

Cody and I have decided that adoption will be our next move to expand our family. We have been through a lot of heartbreak with miscarriages and hormone issues. We believe that this move is the right move. We have chosen to work with an agency in Colorado, since they know the law here in particular. We have also chosen to go international, because of the unknowns and risks of a domestic adoption. We have chosen Korea and we will leave the sex up to God, just like we would in pregnancy. We will be starting some fundraising and a paypal account to raise the 25,000 that we need to adopt. If you are interested in helping, please email me.

Autumn and Mattea at 22 months

The twins are growing fast. I adore every moment with them. This winter was long. We had the flu, whooping cough, and plenty of colds. Still, through it all they were troopers. Autumn, is talking like crazy. She has started to put together short sentences, such as, "Daddy Home." Or "MatMat Sleep." She also talks for Mattea, if Autumn asks for juice or a snack she also asks for one for Mattea. It is adorable. Mattea loves to tease her sister, she is always doing something silly. There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't make us laugh. The girls are my life and I could not imagine not having them. They were the best gift God could have granted us. My husband is a great Daddy and Husband. He is always there for us and always doing something for us. Daddy is my best friend, and without him my life would be empty. I am so proud of the man he is and the Father he has become. My family is my life.
